Technical Support

Our technical department is primarily responsible for the repairs and maintenance of long-line fishing vessels. These marine technicians are well skilled and supported by a Chief Engineer who has spent many years serving on these particular vessels.

High technology and precision engineering work required is sub-contracted to state of the art companies located within the port of Cape Town. Our relationships with these reputable marine-engineering companies have also come a long way, needless to say that they are familiar with our vessel’s requirements.

After a detailed inspection and survey, a quotation is prepared and communicated to vessel owners. In many cases detailed digital photographs accompany these quotations making the “picture” so much clearer for the owner. On clear instructions from the vessel owner such repairs and maintenance are effected.

After completion of repairs/maintenance a report is prepared, translated into Japanese and submitted to Tokyo/Japan for the vessel owners attention.
